Korea Day- Asian Art Museum

On Sunday September 20, the Asian Art Museum in San Francisco will be hosting their annual Korea Day. The museum will offer FREE admission this day.

A variety of activities and workshops celebrating Korean culture will be available to museum visitors of all ages.

Do you enjoy K-pop? At the K-pop Lounge, fans will get to sing and dance to their favorite K-pop hits.

Foodies will enjoy a tasting and demonstration of hansik, a traditional Korean food served during the holiday, Chuseok.

Want to get creative? Express your inner artist through a variety of fun art projects that you can take with you to wear or decorate your home.

Want to bring the little ones with you? Kids will enjoy storytelling time from the author and illustrator of the award-winning children’s book Juna’s Jar and through museum tours just for families and kids.

These are only just a few of the many activities planned for Korea Day. If you love Korea and it’s culture, come on out and spend the day at the museum immersing yourself into the traditional and contemporary culture of Korea!
