PENTAGON Hops Around In Newest Single “Naughty Boy”

PENTAGON released their newest music video “Naughty Boy” on September 10 and their dance moves make it easy to hop around to the music!

In the quirky music video, PENTAGON dance bring joy to their jobs, with the members working as construction workers, car washers, packagers and chaperones for children. What makes this video so awesome is that people around the world can be so tired and bored with their jobs, but PENTAGON finds a way to make it fun.

“Naughty Boy” is PENTAGON’s latest comeback single off their 7th mini-album Thumbs Up, released on September 10. The five-track album is the first time the group has made a comeback with only eight members. Members Yanan and E’Dawn did not participate in the group’s comeback promotions. Yanan is focusing on his health, while E’Dawn is on a temporary hiatus from the group after his relationship with fellow Cube Entertainment artist HyunA was revealed. Despite his absence, E’Dawn and Hui composed the title track “Naughty Boy” for the album alongside Flow Blow.

Thumbs Up deserves a solid thumbs up, because PENTAGON’s music is playful and fun to listen to. Their song “Thumbs Up” itself encourages listeners to keep smiling and laughing in the face of hardship: “Everyone seems to hate me / The world is not like backing up / OK / It’s OK / Try to laugh / Make you smile / It’s a blessing if you laugh.””Thumbs Up” is a blessing to listen to because everyone is worried about something — jobs, school grades,  relationships, families, financial situations and so much more.

With Thumbs Up, PENTAGON wants their fans to throw away all of their worries and have faith in themselves. With their inspirational music, PENTAGON are a group who can’t help but shine. Let’s not forget that they make our hearts pound “like a gorilla,” as well.
