On Thursday, December 3rd, solo artist BUDY (버디) released the music video for her new single, “Fly High”.
BUDY has also released a live video for her single, “Do Re Mi”, which is the first video of a seven-part LIVE CLIP SERIES.
BUDY made her solo debut on March 3rd, 2019 with her studio album, BUDY’S MIDNIGHT. However, it was not her first experience in the music industry. She is a former member of the girl group GIRLS GIRLS where she was the group’s former leader, rapper and vocalist under her birth name, Gyurang (규랑).
“Fly High” is BUDY’s most recent release which follows her digital singles “Stray Cat” and “A Week”, which were released earlier this year. Her new single, “Fly High” is self written, self produced, and showcases heavy pop, soul and urban influences.
BUDY’s hope for those who listen to “Fly High” is this: “I hope you feel the freedom to fly in night skies while listening to Fly High. And I hope you remember your happy moments as a fantastic feeling.”
