K-pop’s freshest sub-unit OX:N is already turning heads with their official debut. In a special
Music Makers interview, Jaehan, Xen, Jehyun, and Yechan opened up about their first mini-
album N and the creative spark driving their new direction. As the very first sub-unit from
OMEGA X, OX:N represents a bridge between the group’s past, present, and future which
signals endless possibilities ahead. The members reflected on how this new formation has
allowed them to grow both musically and personally, while still staying rooted in the energy of the original 11-member group.
Their five-track EP explores the many sides of love, from the retro-inspired title track “YOU” to emotional ballads like “LET ME IN,” and rock-inspired songs like “CAUSE OF YOU,” composed by members Xen and Jaehan. Working as a smaller unit has given the members an opportunity to experiment with their sound, deepen their bond, and deliver a more focused experience for fans.
The Music Makers interview dived into the group’s stories behind the EP, reflected on their
evolution as artists, and even played a fun “Guess the Member” game that revealed unexpected sides of each member. From their playful chemistry to heartfelt messages for fans, Eden and Cherry offered an inside look at what makes OX:N such an exciting new chapter.
