Every year KPOP-TV accepts a limited number of K-Pop fans who wish to develop their writing skills, contribute to the global K-Pop community, and get some professional experience in the entertainment industry. These Blogger Interns can work from home, working on weekly assignments and receiving feedback from our team of professionals.
The KPOP-TV Remote Blogger Internship takes place over a minimum of nine weeks and is adapted to accomodate your personal schedule and rate of development. As an intern, our media team will guide you through scheduled learning benchmarks, expose you to journalistic principles as well as a formalized and professional system of writing, editing, and help you to learn a variety of article types (reviews, news, and listicles). Upon successful graduation of the program, you will receive a certificate of completion and your successful efforts will be published on our site’s blog. Each blog post typically receives thousands of views. This can be a really fun way to share your interest in K-Pop while building your résumé and professional portfolio as a writer. Exceptional interns may also earn an invitation to join our advanced program, receive a letter of recommendation from KPOP-TV’s CEO, or contribute additional articles of their own topic choice to further build their portfolio.
Requirements to apply:
- Minimum 11th grade in high school
- Skills in writing (knowledge of proper grammar, spelling, familiarity of what makes a writing voice sound interesting, and a working mastery of the English language)
- Reliable internet connection
- At least four hours per week
- Commitment to at least nine weeks to complete the program
