Rebekah Kim was born August 11, 1989, Honolulu, Hawaii. Kim, who is better known by her stage name Bekah, is Korean-American born and raised in Hawaii and former member of South Korean girl group, After School.
Bekah made her first appearance with After School on MBC’s Music Core, performing their song AH!. She was the main rapper and lyricist of the group, having written raps for many of their songs. She was also featured in Seo In Guk’s song, At First Sight, Lee Hyori’s Bring It Back, along with 4minute’s Jiyoon, and Tei’s Mr Lonely. She released her solo single, Take Me To The Place, which was self written as part of her graduation work from After School. She officially graduated from After School in July 2011.
As of now, Bekah is back in the U.S. and continues making music for her fans around the world while simultaneously pursuing other ventures such as fashion and acting. During KCON 2013, we had the opportunity to sit down with this multi-talented artist for an exclusive interview about her life after After School, as well as her plans for the future.
