Dear students who are enjoying K-Pop Academy,
In order to accommodate our instructors’ requests and to compensate for unexpected developments at our teaching site, some of the class locations may have moved. You should all receive an announcement in-class and by email before the change takes place.

The Consulate General of the Republic of Korea and Korean Cultural Center of Los Angeles, in collaboration with 24 Hour K-POP TV, proudly present the 2018 K-POP Dance & Vocal Academy!
The goal of this program is to further develop the skills and interests of local dancers and singers interested in K-POP and Korean culture. If you’ve ever dreamed of being a K-Pop idol, the 2018 K-Pop Dance & Vocal Academy is an opportunity you can’t miss!
The academy will be held for FREE at the KMTP Complex at the Cubberley Center in Palo Alto.
The academy will be taught by professional K-Pop instructors, including a special guest instructor from the popular reality TV program “Produce 101!” Participants selected through the audition process will be receive the chance to be trained by exciting instructors.
Classes begin July 24, 2018 at 7PM! You must apply by July 11th!We look forward to seeing you there!

K-POP Final Showcase:
Students and instructors will prepare a performance for the final showcase that will be held on August 8, 2018 at the Cubberley Theater.
The K-POP Final Showcase will be an exciting event that gives the participants the chance to show off all of the amazing techniques and skills learned throughout the program. The performance will be open to the public with special guest and performers; all friends and family are encouraged to attend!

Application Process:
- Fill out Application by Wednesday, July 11th, 2018.
- Tryouts will be held on Tuesday, July 24th, 2018 at 6PM at the Cubberley Community Center L6.
- Please prepare a vocal / dance performance using a K-Pop song for your audition to show your passion for K-Pop and Korean culture.
- All participants are responsible for bringing their own music to the tryout. You can bring the music using your phones (only compatible with Apple or Samsung phones) or USB.
- Selection Process and Announcement on July 24th.
- K-POP Academy Orientation with special instructors on July 24th.
- Academy Start Date: July 24th Tuesday at Cubberley Community Center in Palo Alto.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Must attend all classes
- Must agree to be filmed by 24 Hour K-POP TV
- Must have a passion for dancing and/or singing
- Must have a passion for K-POP and its culture
- Must be 18 years or older
