The Northern California Cherry Blossom Festival Queen Program is now accepting applications for 2022 program candidates!
Since 1968, The Festival’s Queen Program has strived to develop young women of Japanese descent to become future community leaders who will preserve and continue traditions and bring forth new ideas. The program is focused on the mentoring and development of these young women placing value on their maturity, integrity, sincerity, honesty, loyalty, commitment and diligence. These women will also work diligently as cultural ambassadors to strengthen the relationship with the local Japanese American community through outreach and hands-on presence at community events throughout the year.
