Daniel Kang

DANIEL KANG
Daniel Kang is the owner of In the Groove Studios and directs his own professional dance company, Groove Against the Machine in Oakland, California.

He first started dancing hip hop at San Jose State University and realized that this was something he loved doing. Daniel was invited to join several local dance teams, and quickly found himself a home with Culture Shock Oakland. He gained recognition and was awarded the pleasure to be an artistic director, which allowed him to grow and gain knowledge to start his own dance company, Groove Against the Machine.

Daniel has hosted many competitions and performances while teaching classes and workshops all over the San Francisco Bay Area, Los Angeles, San Diego and even Korea! Daniel’s intricate and groovy style stems from his passion to express through dancing. He is a passionate dancer and choreographer with the goal to help students of all levels to become the person they aspire to be by embracing the love of dance.
