For over a decade, KPOP-TV has run a unique and highly educational internship program for young people in the Bay Area who aspire to work in the media industry. Over 200 interns have graduated from our program, many of them moving on to work as professionals in the fields of broadcasting, videography, writing, acting, and social media. If you think you have the skills to be a compelling TV presenter that really connects with your audience then this program may be for you.
Blogger
KPOP-TV is looking for talented and knowledgeable K-pop and K-drama fans who would like to share their love of K-pop and K-drama with our viewers by writing fun and interesting pieces for our website.
Camera Position
If you have much more than a casual interest in doing studio and field camera work then this program may be for you. In our program you will work with professional broadcast equipment and will learn to utilize the equipment in the way that fits our workflow for our fast paced broadcast television operations at KPOP-TV.
Social Media and Outreach
This position gives you experience in creating engaging posts and exciting promotions for KPOP-TV. This includes reaching out to potential partners of KPOP-TV to coordinate sales opportunities and location commercial shoots. The person that understands the essentials of social media marketing and professional communication can do well in this position.
Producer Trainee Associate
Our producers are key players in putting together the stories and shows for our network. If you are comfortable meeting people, gaining leadership experience, and sharing your ideas with your team, then you may qualify as a Producer Trainee at KPOP-TV.
Writer
Our writers contribute on a variety scripts that get aired on our network. If watching K-Pop gives you lots of ideas that you want to share, and you think you can communicate those ideas clearly to an audience, the writing internship could be a great match for you. (Note: This position mainly focuses on scripts. For journalism and article writing, please see our Blogger role.)
Video Editor
Let your creativity flow while learning about the technical details that are important to broadcast television. Video editors are one of the superheroes of video and can turn mediocre footage into an award winning presentation.
